This is the blog of Elder Robert Buss. I'll be serving a proselyting mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (LDS Church) in Thailand for two years. To learn more about why the LDS church sends out missionaries, please look here. If you are interested in meeting with other LDS missionaries in your area, go here. I'm excited to be able to go and teach the gospel of Jesus Christ, in Thai, in Thailand.
I have set up this blog so that people will be able to stay in contact with me. Generally what will be posted here will be emails that I send to my family each week. I won't be emailing people outside my family, but I love writing letters. If you'd like to write me while I'm in Thailand go to the contact page on the top bar on my home page. There you'll find my current address, as well as ways to keep posted on what shows up here on this blog.
At the start of my mission, I'll be at the Provo Missionary Training Center (MTC). I will enter the MTC August 10, 2011. There I'll learn about being a missionary and begin learning the Thai language. I expect to be at the MTC for three months.
I'm excited to go and serve the LORD for two years. I hope you enjoy reading this blog.
